About Goldie West – Edward Jones:
Financial success for my clients is my top priority. To put it simply, I help clients grow, protect and eventually transfer their wealth on their terms. This is accomplished by following a proven process and using established tools with clients. First, I listen to find out what is important to them, then tailor a personalized strategy to achieve these goals. We then partner throughout their lifetime to help stay on track. Helping clients establish a legacy for their heirs and / or charities is the final piece.
Having grown up in Texas and after living in Europe, the Pacific Northwest is where I decided to call my home. I graduated cum laude from Portland State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Business Management degree. Prior to working at Edward Jones, I managed a successful business in Hillsboro, serving not only local clients, but also clients throughout the United States, Australia and New Zealand. This has helped me to bring additional skills to the table. With my over 10 years of business experience, I understand what’s important to business owners.
My husband and I have two daughters and a small black and white mutt named Buddy. I understand what’s important to parents and know what’s necessary to set their children up for success. From early savings for education expenses through helping those same kids, who are now adults, establish their own households and amass their own wealth for their own future needs, it’s all part of the process of success.
Outside of working with clients, one of my passions has been working with Rotary International as a host parent to several international students over the years. I’ve also been an active fundraiser for the United Way and served as president of the Downtown Business Association. My family has been active with Scouts and currently enjoys cycling, hiking, camping, gardening and Taekwondo.
Is has been an honor to be able to help people with the financial “forks in the road” as they come up, whether that be a job change, an inheritance, college, retirement or the many other things that can cause sleepless nights. I use established tools to help make those changes manageable, productive and with the best possible outcomes.
It would be my privilege to work with you toward what is most important to you.
